• Recall Information: Recall information about motor vehicles and motor vehicle equipment can be found on NHTSA's VIN look-up tool at nhtsa.gov/recalls. Vehicle manufacturers also have look-up tools for their recalls on their respective websites.

• Use and Handling of Airbags: Do not sell or use salvaged, used, or reconditioned airbag parts to repair vehicles. Use of such parts could result in an increased risk to the occupants due to incorrect usage, unknown component history, incorrect handling and storage, or incorrect installation that could cause the airbag not to operate as designed for the vehicle in which it is installed.

• Parts Disposal Information: Federal law prohibits selling certain motor vehicle parts or components, including those identified in this tool. Please dispose of any parts identified in this tool in a safe manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to environmental laws and regulations.
